1* It is collection of instructions,program and data.
2* It is a logical unit that drives a Computer System.
3* It defines both process and data.
EXAMPLE:- MS DOS, Linux, MS word, Adobe photoshop etc.are software.
IMPORTANT NOTE ALWAYS REMEMBER IT :-
A program is a component of software where as software is a collection of programs,data,instructions that execute inside computer.
